Your mouth needs all its teeth, and a bridge is custom made to fill the gap of a missing tooth.

A bridge is a false tooth cemented to adjacent teeth. Unlike dentures, it cannot be removed. A bridge is a single unit, consisting of the replacement tooth and two crowns to either side.

What to expect

• Fixed bridge procedures are performed using local anesthetic, typically require 2-3 appointments and take about 2 weeks from start to finish.
• During the procedure, we will prepare the two healthy teeth on either side of the missing tooth for crowns.
• Once the bridge is in place, your dentist will demonstrate a slightly altered cleaning technique with brushing and flossing.
