Night Guards, Snore Guards & Sleep Apnea Devices
What you do in your sleep can have a big impact on your oral health. Whether you grind your teeth or snore like a chainsaw, we can help with custom-fit mouth guards, snore guards and sleep apnea devices.
Night guards
Grinding or clenching your teeth while you sleep can lead to tooth sensitivity, broken fillings, cracked/weakened teeth, and destruction of costly crowns and bridges.
A custom night guard protects your teeth and dental work while relieving stress and strain on your jaw joints and facial muscles. The guard is a thin and transparent device that you wear over your teeth’s chewing surfaces while you sleep, and it prevents the upper and lower teeth from contacting. Our patients are surprised by how quickly they get used to them.

Sleep apnea devices and snore guards
Chronic snoring may be an indicator of sleep apnea, which is when breathing is regularly interrupted for 10 seconds or longer while you sleep. Other early symptoms to watch for include persistently being tired through the day, having trouble concentrating, general irritability, poor memory and headaches.
Sawing logs could be a bigger problem than bothering your bed partner. Sleep apnea can lead to high blood pressure, diabetes, heart complications, and many more health related risks. Not good!
What is good, is that if your doctor or another specialist diagnoses you with mild or moderate obstructive sleep apnea, we can make a type of custom-fit mouth guard that can help. This device holds your lower jaw slightly forward, which opens your airway while you sleep so you breathe regularly.

What to expect
- During a regular appointment, we can make an impression of your teeth (top and bottom), and also take a bite impression to ensure the best fit. Your mouth guard or sleep apnea device will be ready for pickup in 1-5 days.
