A patient’s perspective on digital dentistry at Waterloo Family Dental
Linda and her family have been patients at Waterloo Family Dental for 30 years. She recently had the opportunity to experience our same day crown service and was amazed at how far dentistry has come – digital scanning technology coupled with 3D-printing of the crown was quick, efficient, and painless.
Previous crowns involved those gooey imprints, which Linda was grateful to skip this time. A couple of minutes of scanning her mouth was all it took for the dentists to digitally model a new ceramic crown and have it created in house a few hours later.
