Dr. Sugun Kanwar is a General Dentist at Waterloo Family Dental in Waterloo
Dr. Sugun is a general dentist with a special interest in orthodontics. She graduated from S.G.R.D. in India with a B.D.S. degree in 2006 and then went on to pursue a residency in orthodontics (M.D.S.) at A.B.S.M.I.D.S., which she completed in 2010. Her six years of dedicated orthodontic practice in India equipped her with the expertise to manage cases involving dental misalignments and functional issues using clear aligners and traditional braces.
Her move to Canada marked a new chapter in her professional journey, where she earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of Alberta in three years. While she practices as a general dentist, Dr. Sugun’s keen interest and expertise in orthodontics remain central to her work. In addition to her professional commitments, Dr. Sugun is a busy mom of two young children.
Despite her demanding career, she finds time to pursue her interests in baking, gardening, and exploring new places with her family.
